What this tree means to me .... it was a focal point of our family life. It created a fantastic shady tent in the summer and was my two girls natural climbing frame. They played 'sleepy lions' on the branches and camped in the cargo net that we hung in its branches; so it could probably tell some revealing secrets! Also a link with the natural world with squirrels arguing through the branches and blue tits nesting in the holes. Wotton's resident eagle owl once paid it a visit and hooted from the top of the tree!
